Difful 3DSS Solar Screw Borehole Pump Series (76mm)

 

Introducing the DIFFUL 3DSS series, a 3-inch brushless DC solar submersible pump engineered to draw water from deep, low-yielding boreholes with no grid connection and no battery bank. This solar borehole pump excels in off-grid residential water supply, livestock watering, rural drinking water provision and small-area agricultural irrigation, delivering up to 1.7m³/h against heads as great as 109 metres on 120W to 500W of solar power.

Unlike conventional centrifugal borehole pumps, which lose output rapidly as head increases, the 3DSS drives a positive displacement helical rotor turning within a stator. Each rotation carries a fixed volume of water upward, so the series produces exceptional head from modest power and holds its flow steady at depth – the characteristic that suits it to deep boreholes and slow-recovering water tables where an impeller pump would struggle or run dry.

 

Constructed from a stainless steel oil cylinder, outlet and connecting fittings around a 304 stainless steel motor shaft, the pump incorporates double mechanical seals, CU/NSK Japanese bearings in a double bearing arrangement and a sacrificial anode for long service life in aggressive borehole water. Every unit ships complete with its matched MPPT solar controller providing sensor-free dry-run protection, soft start, automatic stop-start and LED fault-code display, together with a stainless steel float switch, outlet connector and cable splice kits. CE, GS and RoHS certified, supplied with a two-year warranty.

  • 3DSS1.2-56-24-120 – 120W, 24V, up to 1.2m³/h, 56m maximum head
  • 3DSS1.2-77-36-210 – 210W, 36V, up to 1.2m³/h, 77m maximum head
  • 3DSS1.7-109-48-500 – 500W, 48V, up to 1.7m³/h, 109m maximum head

 

All models share a 76mm pump body that fits 100mm (4-inch) boreholes and larger, with a 3/4" outlet and 2m cable tail. Solar array capacity should be a minimum of 1.3 times the rated pump power – roughly 160W of panels for the 120W pump, 280W for the 210W and 650W for the 500W.
