Designed to operate in remote rural areas, the Mono rotary hand pump is capable of drawing potable water from boreholes or wells as deep as 120m.
Mono hand pumps are maintenance-free, robust, easy-to-operate solutions to manual pumping requirements for rural areas. First introduced in 1968, these hand pumps have been continually refined to offer improved operation and extended operational lifetime.
Based on the well-known positive displacement progressing cavity principle, the output of the hand pump is directly proportional to the speed at which the pump is turned. When turning the handle, the pump offers very little resistance and can be operated even by the very young or the aged.
