FPS-S SERIES High Efficiency Pumping Technology

The FPS-S Series High efficiency pumps incorporate high efficiency pumping technology such as lost wax or investment cast Impellers and neck rings in the volute and seal place that hydraulically balance the impeller, reducing thrust. Impellers are available in carbon steel or 304 stainless steel.

Performances:

• Heads of up to 100m
• Flow rates up to 600m³/h

• River Water Extraction

Features:

• Replaceable neck rings on front and rear of the impeller for easy and cost effective maintenance and continued high efficiency
• Shaft Material – AISI 420 SS for high resistance against oxidation
• Cooling fins on the bearing frame to remove heat from the oil – extended bearing life
• Magnetic filter in drain plug – no fines in the oil
• Impellers in 304SS or Cataphoresis coated carbon steel – Cataphoresis for PH from 4-12
• All Impellers are investment cast for optimal efficiency
• Patented “Twinner System”  for easy gland servicing

Cataphoresis:

Cataphoresis is an electro chemical coating process for metallic surfaces widely used in the automotive industry owing to its penetration and long lasting life, either as priming coat or final painting. 
Cataphoresis treatment is perfect where a high protection against weather conditions, alkali and diluted acids is requested. 
Cast iron parts are safely used in clean and non-aggressive waters but they can be subject to corrosion where salt, alkali or diluted acid concentration is present.  Furthermore, every casting process produces uneven surfaces, thus limiting the pumps efficiency..
