Vega Submersible Sewage and Drainage Pumps
Introducing the Vega submersible sewage range, pumps that sit in the sump, septic tank or pump station and push waste water and solids to the sewer or drain. The range covers screened drainage pumps, stainless steel vortex pumps, static-cutter raw sewage pumps and heavy channel-impeller pumps up to 45 kW.
Choose by what is in the water. Screened and vortex pumps handle drainage, grey water and small solids. Raw sewage with toilet waste needs a cutter or channel-impeller pump. Keep wipes and rags out of the system whatever pump you use.
Size the pump to the peak inflow and the total head, and keep at least 0.7 m/s in the rising main so solids do not settle.
