DAB Jetcom Self-Priming Jet Pump Series

Introducing the DAB Jetcom series, an Italian-built self-priming centrifugal jet pump engineered to draw water from a source that sits below the pump – a well, borehole, tank, river or dam – at suction depths of up to 8 metres. This domestic water supply pump excels in household pressure boosting, garden and sprinkler irrigation, smallholding and livestock water supply, and small-scale industrial service, delivering up to 3.6m³/h against heads as great as 53.8 metres on a standard 230V single-phase supply.

Unlike a standard centrifugal pump, which must be flooded with water before it will move anything, the Jetcom uses a venturi and diffuser arrangement that lets it re-prime itself and keep pumping even when air is drawn into the suction line. That tolerance for air is what makes it the practical choice for a shallow well or a tank that occasionally runs low, where an ordinary surface pump would lose prime and stop.

Constructed with a technopolymer pump body, impeller, diffuser and venturi assembly on a die-cast aluminium motor support, the Jetcom resists corrosion and scaling far better than a cast iron equivalent and carries a stainless steel wear ring, carbon/ceramic mechanical seal and AISI 416 stainless steel shaft. The closed asynchronous motor runs on oversized greased-for-life ball bearings with built-in thermo-amperometric overload protection and a permanently inserted capacitor. Motor protection IP 44, terminal block IP 55, insulation class F, built to CEI 2-3 and CEI 61-69 (EN 60335-2-41).

Jetcom 102 M – 0.75kW (1HP), 230V, up to 3.6m³/h, 53.8m maximum head

Both models are also available fitted with an automatic pump controller, which starts the pump the moment a tap is opened, stops it when flow ceases, and shuts it down if the water supply runs dry – replacing a pressure vessel and pressure switch in a domestic booster set.

All models share 1" suction and 1" discharge ports, a maximum suction depth of 8 metres and a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar (600 kPa). Liquid temperature range 0 °C to +35 °C for domestic use.
