Introducing the Vega control equipment range, the parts around the pump that make it start, stop and last: automatic flow controllers, float switches, pressure tanks, pressure switches, gauges, 5-way connectors, hoses and replacement bladders.
Most pump failures come from dry running and rapid on-off cycling. A flow controller starts the pump when a tap opens and stops it with dry-run protection; a pressure tank supplies small draws without starting the pump at all. Many systems use both.
Size a pressure tank at about one litre per litre-per-minute of pump flow, and at least 24 litres on a fixed-speed pump.
